Orient Cement, formerly part of Orient Paper & Industries, was demerged in 2012 and has since become one of India's leading and fastest-growing cement manufacturers. They commenced cement production in 1982 at Devapur in Adilabad District, Telangana, and later added a split- grinding unit in Nashirabad, Maharashtra, in 1997. Their integrated cement plant at Chittapur, Gulbarg, Karnataka, began commercial production in 2015. With a total capacity of 8 MT PA, they serve several Indian states.
