Bayer Vapi Private Limited is a 100% owned subsidiary of Bayer SAS France. Bayer Vapi is a core manufacturing site for the company globally and the single largest synthetic pyrethroids production facility in the world. Located at Vapi in Gujarat, it is fully backward integrated with production starting from basic chemicals to active ingredients and intermediates for application in crop protection, animal health as well as home and garden applications. Further, in addition to various internal customers within the Bayer world, the Vapi site manufactures custom-made intermediates required by other multi-national companies in the agro-chemical and animal health industry like Sumitomo, BASF, SC Johnson, etc
Problem
The Problem
Every Manufacturing company, including Bayer, keeps track of its employees' health. Bayer was using excel to manage health records, hazard records, health activities done, any many more. Also, since this was a large plant and employee a huge no of employees, it becomes very hectic for doctors to deal with huge excel file and still not get the required intimation at time about various things like instrument maintenance schedules, planning of examination schedule, appointment reminders, medicine stock status, etc .The most important point was Data Security and Data Privacy for them.

Occucare (Occupational Health Software),was implemented as a solution and have made the Bayer’s health manager’s job easier. All the data is managed and analyzed in software with proper virtual reporting. Also, the solution architecture and design was created in such a way that huge amount of time was save in doing manual entry as compared to excel, also they got proper intimation at time about required aspects for employee’s health and occupational health center management. We also developed keeping in mind the highest standards for Data Privacy and Data Security which is at par with Bayer Worldwide standards.
MSDS
Material Safety Data sheets maintenance for covering a wide range of workplace health and safety topics, from hazards to diseases to ergonomics to workplace promotion.
Consultation
A module to manage day to day illness and injuries, prescribing medicines, tests and if required referring to hospitals. module is directly linked to Stock module and Pharmacy modules.
Bio Medical waste
Data related to bio medical waste disposal are managed efficiently; it keeps separate record for each disposal bag (i.e. Yellow bag, Red bag and Puncture proof container) with bio medical vendor detail and cost for bio medical waste disposal.
Health Check ups
The total number of employee examinations planned, the total number of employees examined, and the total number of employees absolute pending are all displayed on the Examination dashboard.
MIS
Provides a complete image of the company, its functions, and the results of the age-based health study. We can acquire an overall examination dashboard as well as a disease-by-disease data count.
